7th June 2016
From 1-5 June 2016, one of the directors of Serekinti, Daniel Schraibman, ran and walked most of the Offa’s Dyke Trail in aid of the British Red Cross. He started in Chepstow on the Bristol Channel and finished on Moel Famau, the highest mountain in the Clwydian Range. This involved running and walking around 35 miles per day for the first four days in blisteringly hot conditions with around 26,000 feet of ascent. Unfortunately, a repeated ankle sprain meant that he only managed to do 20 miles on the final day before having to retire.
